NOW HIRING PROFESSIONAL CAREGIVERS

SeaStar Senior Services is a new senior care company in Portland, Oregon. We provide in home care, companionship, and care management for seniors and vulnerable adults in Portland and the surrounding towns. We are looking for professional caregivers who want to be part of a new company that is focused on providing quality, compassionate care to our clients.

If you are looking for an agency where you are interviewed one day and sent to a client's home the next day, then we are not the agency for you. We take our time with onboarding, following the Oregon Administrative Rules, with background checks, paid training, orientation and nurse evaluation BEFORE we send you out. Duties:

• Provide companionship to clients living in their own homes

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands

• Social interaction with the clients - puzzles, games, reading

• Personal care, depending on assigned client needs

• Medication administration, depending on assigned client needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with seniors and adults with disabilities

• CPR certified or able to obtain

• Good observational and writing skills

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

• Must have a smart phone for clocking in and out and documentation

• Driver's license, car, and clean driving record for some clients

Compensation:

• Pay is $20 - $22 an hour depending on experience and education

• Paid Sick leave

• Training provided

• $150 bonus at 90 days for CNA's
